Standard button jointed Memory bear workshop (baby clothing or adult clothing)
Spend some time with me on Zoom and learn how to make a memory bear. I will guide you through the process step by step. A great way to spend an afternoon/morning sewing and chatting. Workshops will be one to one.
This workshop will be spread over two 3 hr sessions so you will need to be available for the two consecutive days. At the end of the course you will have completed your own memory bear.
You will need to have basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine in order to participate in the workshop. Equally you will need your own sewing machine and iron.
You’ll will also need 6-8 items of baby clothing or 1-2 items of adult clothing
You can add in blankets and even muslins if you would like.
When you have placed your order. I will send you a confirmation email to agree the dates and times of your workshop. We will then post your workshop pack to you in plenty of time.
In your pack will be
1. a copy of the pattern in paper form for you to keep. I will purchase this for you from funky friends factory. So as to credit the original pattern maker. You must not reproduce or sell this pattern on.
2. the pattern pre drawn out on interfacing
3. buttons for jointing and eyes
4. wire for jointing the bear
5. an extra long doll needle for button jointing
6. Felt for the nose
7. 500g of stuffing to fill your bear
8. Sewing clips
You will need to have your own sewing thread and bobbins for your machine . You will also need a needle for some hand sewing
The pack will also have an agenda of how the two days will work and which stages we will be working on each day. We will also provide the password for the zoom in this agenda

Please note once booked the course is non refundable ,if you are unable to attend. However can be transferred to a later date. Please advise us at least 48hrs before the workshop if you are unable to attend so that we can rearrange a later date.
